Welcome to "Wooden Hardware", the Rob Farmer Homepage.

This page is in existence courtesey of the good people at free-online, and the fine, fine people at the MooM DoJo. Humble acoustic musician that I am, I have no computer - so many thanks to you all (especially Kris). There's not much here at the moment, but there's plenty more to follow.

Last update: June 3rd 1999

The page is arranged into five sections:

The Acoustic Guitar was adopted as favourite after many years of playing Electric Bass with the Ain Bum Beef, and a spell of Electric Rhythm Guitar work with MooM. After leaving MooM, making way for the far more formidable presence (and all round better guitar playing) of Mark, a whole bunch of very poor songs came my way one day while I was playing guitar. Some time later another bunch of songs came, still poor, but seemingly not quite as poor. Anyway, the songs kept coming, they got less and less poor, and at some point I started taking note and recording them. There's some seventy or eighty songs recorded now, and new songs come along every now and then. Now I've got a WebSite and some free downloadable music at mp3.com; funny how it goes around.
